Takebera - Bamboo Knife

The Japanese name of bamboo knife is Takebera. Bamboo knives are the most widely use pottery tools by production potters in Orient for centuries.

Below is a 8 inches long and 1 inch wide Takebera. It can be used in trimming, carving, shaping and cleanup the foot of wet pots. There are many ways to hold this tool, you just need to try them and find the best way which is suitable for you.
