Takebera - Bamboo Knife

The Japanese name of bamboo knife is Takebera. Bamboo knives are the most widely use pottery tools by production potters in Orient for centuries.

Below is a 10 inches long and 1.75 inch wide Takebera. It can be used in cleanup the foot of large pots or as a long rib. You need to hold it with both hands when cleaning up the foot of large pots. There are many ways to hold this tool, you just need to try them and find the best way which is suitable for you.
